JKF flashback and GREAT News!
First of all: Thanks to everyone who showed up at Barfüsserplatz to kick out the jams with us last saturday, FUCKING AWESOME !!!
And thanks to the whole JKF team for creating such a cool event, Jugendkultur ahoi!

Our new EP "High Strung" (to be released on Oct. 2nd at Hirscheneck Basel) has already found 2 willing Labels!
NonStop Music will be taking over all distribution and marketing for Switzerland.
Twilight Vertrieb will be taking over all distribution and marketing for Germany and the rest of the world.
This means: After Oct. 2nd 2009 you will be able to buy and download our music from any online music shop worldwide, or buy/order our CD from your local music store - no matter where you live.

Jede Formation, die am JKF 2009 auftreten wird, hat auf der JKF-Website ein eigenes Profil. Bei den Bands und Musikerinnen steht - neben Kurz-Biographie und Bild sowie dem Link auf die Website der Band - auch ein Songbeispiel von 30 Sekunden zum Reinhören bereit.
Der Webmaster ist trotz 32 Grad nicht faul und hat alle Plays pro Band seit Anfang Juni bis zum 17. August addiert. Wer hat am meisten Plays auf www.jkf.ch? New EP comin' up soon, RFV Regio Sound Credit and more...

- Thanks to our beloved RFV (Rockförderverein Basel) we received a Regio Sound Credit of 5'000 sFr., which will go into our next full-lenght Album !!!

- Our new EP with the name "High Strung" has now finished it's mastering process and is on it's way to us (and finally YOU). New tracks will be posted here in no time.
The Release Party will be on the 2.10.09 at Hirscheneck and the Jackets - cool band from Bern - will be supporting us. Come early cause experience tells us how fast our Hirschi shows are sold out. So be prepared for a sweaty night with good music and simply great vibes !

High Strung
We've got some amazing News.
1. All the recording for our new EP "High Strung" is now finished. Thanks Deezl for making the process so easy and comfortable. It's up to him now for mixing/mastering the stuff. For your delight we'll be posting one or two tracks by the end of May - before the CD is available.
2. Grazie to everyone that klicked our name in the JKF Voting. Thanks to you we came in Place 6 of all the bands registered!
AND THANKS TO YOU: We are now playing on Saturday evening the 22.8. at 00:00 on the main stage!
AWESOME.

Big fat thanks!
Hey there,
a big fat thanks to everyone who made last weekend as awesome as it was.
It was great too see DOLLHOUSE again and play two shows with them. Extremely cool live band that
somehow manages to fill a whole room with dancing shoes, no matter where they are.
But life goes on and the next events for us are:
Friday 13.3.09 there's another Bitch Queens DJ-Team aftershow for the Zamarro Record Release Party
at the Kuppel in Basel.
The weekend after that 20.-22.3.09 we're spending 3 days at Foolpark Studios to record a new EP.
More news will follow.

Life Goes On
Wow... A huge THANKS to everyone that came to Hirscheneck last friday to say goodbye to Dave and have a good time. You guys were amazing!!! The place was sold out after 45 minutes, before Dodge City Hell Pigs even started playing..
Speaking of the Hell Pigs (you guys were pretty fuckin cool), keep an eye on them!
Anyways, life goes on and so do Bitch Queens. We're preparing a set with our new bass player Marc Steele. In february we plan on recording 3 or 4 songs to get our new sound out to the public.

Hello fellow Bitches and Gentlemen. Finally we’re back with some sad, interesting and exciting news.
This coming October we will be saying good bye to one of our band members. Dave Dandy will be leaving the band to follow his own path in life. Details are none of your business, but rest assured that the reasons are fair and we won’t be parting in anger nor regret.
And don’t worry, this is definitely not the end of your favorite band „Bitch Queens“! Cause new on board is Marc Steele (oder wie au immer) will be hammering the bass strings! A warm and welcoming applause for Marc! The lead vocal part will be taken over by Kid Krystal.
To give our „thank you“s for the awesome years we had with Dave, and to welcome our new member we will be celebrating on Fr 10.10.08 in Hirscheneck, Basel. Supporting us will be the young and ferocious hounds by the name of „Dodge City Hell Pigs“. You’d better come early cause we’re hoping the cellar is as packed and the vibes are as fucking AMAZING as last time at Hirscheneck!
